The DTE App brings all their day to day operations into one place with electronic Work Orders, Dispatch Orders, Truck Logs and Timekeeping, but the biggest feature is a cutting edge Dispatch Schedule that keeps everyone up to date in real time as the schedule changes throughout the week and day.
Because Dan Tapani Excavating provides both excavating and trucking services, they needed a scheduling solution that would be effective for dispatching both their machines and their fleet of trucks. They had built a working system in Google Sheets, but they wanted to take things to the next level.
The DTE Dispatch Schedule lays out all their machines and trucks so they can see at a glance what is going on for any given day on any given machine. They can also send text messages to their operators and drivers directly from the dispatch schedule so when things change, everyone stays in the know.
Lithium made my vision for an app come to life. We wanted to eliminate paper forms and streamline our scheduling & dispatch. All the online options I researched did not fit our needs completely. I knew that we needed an app that was tailor made for it to be worth using. I had ideas and Lason knew how to help me fully form them to get a final product that is easy to use. We now have scheduling, dispatch, reporting & timekeeping in one place which makes our jobs more efficient. We will definitely use Lithium for any future needs.
